Students with Down syndrome are highly visual learners, they rely heavily on the right side of their brain (visual-spatial) to help them retain, learn and understand information. During this presentation you will gain insight on how to adapt teaching practices and pedagogies to better accommodate students with Down syndrome. You will also be shown various strategies that you can employ to adapt the curriculum for literacy, numeracy and technology.
